Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has said he will agree to give under-fire captain John Terry time off if he requests it.
England skipper Terry was again under the spotlight on Tuesday when the Premier League leaders could only manage a 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Hull at the KC Stadium.
Reports had suggested Terry will be allowed to miss the FA Cup clash with Cardiff on February 13 in the wake of lurid allegations about his private life, while Fabio Capello is expected to announce on Friday whether he will remain captain of England.
Ancelotti said: "If he needs a holiday I will give him a holiday. If he doesn't need a holiday then he will play against Cardiff."
"It is an issue for me and John Terry, it is not your problem I think," the Italian told the post-match press conference.
