The Scholes Boxes

This was named after Paul Scholes a few years ago - because of the driving runs into the box that he still regularly makes. It is an art practiced by most of the great midfielders - as seen these days by Gerrard and Lampard. It's the ability to make a quick forward pass and then move into position to get the return and do something with it.

Make sure that you rotate the players regularly on this. The players should tire quickly, whereas with younger players - those in the boxes may start to feel the cold. You can have goalkeepers if you have enough players - but you can do without them - just make the goals a little smaller.
