Hull City boss Phil Brown is set for talks with incoming chairman Adam Pearson but believes he will still be at the club for some time yet. The Tigers are currently third from bottom in the Premier League and Brown is under increasing pressure after steering the side to just three victories in his last 31 matches. Pearson is set to be confirmed as the club's chairman on Monday, replacing Paul Duffen who resigned last week, with news also to come about Brown's own future at the club. Speaking immediately after the controversial 2-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday, Brown said: "I will speak to the owner [Russell Bartlett] later and on Sunday, and we will find out more on Monday. "I expect to be manager of this club in the Premier League next year." Pearson bought Hull in 2001 when they were in administration and appointed Brown as manager during his first spell at the club, which ended in 2008 when he took over as chairman at Derby.
