Hull boss Phil Brown admits injury-plagued midfielder Jimmy Bullard is key to the Tigers enjoying a successful season. The former Wigan and Fulham star is set to return to the squad for the crunch clash against Wolves at the KC Stadium after missing almost two month with another knee problem. Brown cannot wait to be able to call on his talisman again as he looks to keep Hull in the Premier League against the odds again. "Jimmy Bullard for me is going to be key to our season," Brown told the Hull Mail. "When he comes back it will have an impact on players around him because of his exuberance. When Jimmy plays, he lends himself to other players around him. That was the difference. "When Jimmy played for us two or three months ago, that was the reason we were winning games and creating chances and we need that to come back to the table. "I am still optimistic he will play some part in the Wolves game."
