Gary Cahill has said he does not expect Bolton will stand in his way if one of the Premier League's 'big four' comes knocking for him one day. The 23-year-old has emerged as a key figure in the heart of Gary Megson's defence since his £5m switch from Aston Villa in the January 2008 transfer window, culminating in his call up Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine. The centre-back only recently signed a one-year extension to his current contract and sees no rush to quit the Reebok. He said: "Being linked with top clubs gives you a boost. It has got to do. It shows how far I've come. But, although it is nice to read positive things about yourself, I don't like to dwell on that. "There is nothing that is going to happen at this stage of the season anyway and it is a matter of just getting my head down for Bolton and keep trying to put in the performances that have got me here." However, Cahill revealed he would find it difficult to turn down a move to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal. He added: "In the future, who knows what is going to happen? If a big club comes in, there is nothing going to be a problem with that but at the moment I am enjoying my time at Bolton and have done since I've been there. "I've still got a lot to learn but I'm enjoying my football."
