Owen Coyle says he wants to "bring the good times back" to Bolton after he was confirmed as the club's new manager on Friday. Coyle has signed on for two-and-a-half-years at The Reebok after leaving Burnley and the Trotters' former striker is looking forward to his new challenge. The Scot, who played for Bolton between 1993 and 1995, had been in talks with the club this week and, after a compensation package was agreed for his old club, he was officially confirmed as Wanderers’ replacement for the sacked Gary Megson. He said on the club’s website: "I'm absolutely delighted to be back at Bolton Wanderers.I look forward to the opportunity of bringing the good times back to the club for everyone." Saturday's game at Sunderland is off due to the weather, so Coyle’s first match in charge will be against Arsenal a week on Sunday.
