Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted he has not had any contact from AC Milan and Benfica about out-of-favour winger Nani. The Portugal international has suffered from criticism from seasoned Old Trafford followers that his career has failed to kick on since countryman Cristiano Ronaldo was offloaded to Real Madrid in the summer. Nani has also spoken of his frustration at being unable to pin down a first-team shirt and reports had suggested he and Ferguson had fallen out. However, Ferguson insists the 23-year-old, who could return against Tottenham in the Carling Cup this week, has a future with the champions and denied any contact from potential suitors about his availability. "Some big clubs have been mentioned for Nani, like Milan and Benfica, but there has been no contact made with us - and we wouldn't entertain selling him anyway," Ferguson told the Sunday Mirror. "He is only 23. If someone came in for Nani in January we would tell him that he is going absolutely nowhere."
