Danny Murphy is an early doubt for Fulham’s trip to Manchester City on Sunday, having picked up a knee injury in the Cottagers 2-0 win over Hull.
Goals in either half from Bobby Zamora and Diomansy Kamara gave Fulham their second home win of the season and moves them up to 12th in the Premier League.
But Roy Hodgson will be concerned by the knock suffered by Murphy, who will undergo a scan to assess the full extent of the injury.
Murphy was forced to limp out of the action at Craven Cottage on the hour mark with the problem and is keeping his fingers crossed that he is not facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
It is the latest injury concern for the Cottagers, with striker Andy Johnson still on the treatment table and Simon Davies not expected to return until the end of the month from a foot problem.
