Portsmouth boss Paul Hart admits he is unsure whether or not he will be able to add to his relegation-threatened squad in January. The Pompey chief is set to meet new owner Ali Al Faraj at some point this month as he looks to formulate his plans for the rest of the season, with the mid-season transfer window looking to be crucial for the Fratton Park outfit. Hart’s side have won just two Premier League games this term and scoring goals has been a particular problem since the sales of Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch this year. Hart is continuing to scour the market for new faces but landing them appears to be another matter entirely. He told The News: “It is hard for me to say if we will be doing much business in January. The position with the club needs to be addressed. We are all still doing our jobs. "We are looking at players and coming up with potential targets, whether it is for January or the summer. "I am thinking about players that I would like, but actually getting them is another thing."
