Mark Hughes has welcomed confirmation from Brazil winger Robinho that he sees his long-term future at Eastlands. Spanish champions Barcelona have made no secret of their desire to return the former Real Madrid flyer to La Liga and Robinho indicated he would be interested in joining the Champions League holders. Hughes has continued to dismiss speculation about the future of his club-record signing and feels Robinho is settled now that his injury problems have cleared. Hughes said: "I know Robi's feelings. He is very happy around the place and with life in Manchester. He always has a smile on his face. "He is playing alongside good players in a good team. He knows he can be successful with the club and the players that are here already. He likes the way we play and wants to be a part of that." The Welshman added: "Robi was frustrated earlier in the season because he wasn't playing. Now he is playing perhaps people will start speaking about his performances."
