Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar has played down speculation he could be joining Bayern Munich as a replacement for Franck Ribery.
Ribery is widely expected to leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season, with Real Madrid and Chelsea credited with an interest in the France winger.
Pienaar has just 18 months left on his current deal at Goodison Park and reports have suggested Bayern want to bring the former Borussia Dortmund flyer back to Germany.
However, the 27-year-old told KickOff: "I only heard about this at training when Louis Saha came to me during our warm up and said 'I heard some rumours of Bayern Munich being interested in you'."
The South Africa international added: "I really don't know anything about this myself."
