Stoke have doubts over the fitness of both James Beattie and Riccardo Fuller ahead of Saturday's home clash with Manchester United. Beattie aggravated an ankle problem in the Carling Cup win over Blackpool in midweek and his replacement, Fuller, went on to suffer a groin injury and both players are major doubts. Dave Kitson is certain to start in their likely absence while Richard Cresswell could be handed only his second league start of the season. Pulis will be able to call upon first-choice goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, who is set to return after he was an unused sub against Blackpool.
