Defender Alan Hutton is available again after suspension as Sunderland look to round off a successful season with victory at Wolves. The Black Cats are unbeaten in their last nine meetings against Mick McCarthy\’s side while the home side will be hoping to give their fans something to cheer about after struggling to score for large parts of the season at Molineux.

Quick Check

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves scored their first goal in 10 home matches against Blackburn in their last game.

Mick McCarthy\’s team has lost only two of their last nine games.

Stephen Ward will be out until next month with a knee injury.

Winger Michael Kightly remains out with a long-term ankle problem.

Mick McCarthy\’s side has not beaten Sunderland in their last nine meetings.

They have gone nine games without a clean sheet against the Black Cats.

Sunderland

Defender Alan Hutton is available again after a one-match ban.

Darren Bent has scored nine goals in his last 10 games and scored 51 per cent of the Black Cats\’ goals this season.

Sunderland beat Wolves 5-2 when they met earlier in the season.

Kenwyne Jones scored twice in that game.

Winger Andy Reid is still missing with a groin problem.

Sunderland have won only two of their last 28 league away matches.

The Black Cats have kept just three clean sheets in their last 28 games.

Expert Advice

With both sides having comfortably secured their Premier League place weeks ago, there appears little to play for at Molineux and thoughts will already have turned to next season. Wolves will want to finally reward their fans with an eye-catching performance at home but that is easier said than done, and finding a solution to their lack of goals is something that is likely to focus boss Mick McCarthy\’s mind over the summer. While Sunderland have been terrific at home this campaign, they have struggled on the road and with this in mind, Betsson\’s price of 3.40 for there to be under 1.5 goals looks a sound bet.

West Ham will bid to end a miserable season on a high against Manchester City in what could be boss Gianfranco Zola’s final game in charge at Upton Park. Winger Luis Boa Morte could make a belated first start of the season against City who must lift themselves after suffering the disappointment of missing out on fourth place to Tottenham in midweek.

Quick Check

West Ham United

Carlton Cole’s goal against Fulham last weekend was his first in 11 games.

Winger Luis Boa Morte could make his first appearance of the season after an eight-month knee injury lay-off.

City have won their last 11 league matches when Tevez has scored.

Roberto Mancini’s side has lost only once in their last nine meetings with West Ham.

Joleon Lescott is still out after complications with a hamstring problem.

Winger Martin Petrov is still struggling with a knee injury.

City have lost 11 of the last 12 meetings between the two teams.

Midfielder Michael Johnson is out until the start of next season with a long-term knee injury.

Expert Advice

After missing out in the race for the fourth and final Champions League spot, it could be difficult for Roberto Mancini to raise his Manchester City players for the season finale at Upton Park. Having spent fortunes over the last 12 months, the visitors will know they have under-achieved this campaign. They have an excellent recent record against West Ham, though, and, with Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor leading their attack, they appear to have too many options going forward for the home side to handle. If it is to be Zola’s final game in charge, the Hammers will want to produce a good display but keeping clean sheets has been a major problem for them over the last eight months and an away win by two goals at Betsson’s odds of 3.00 looks a value bet.

England captain Rio Ferdinand will be hoping to return for the season-finale as Manchester United try to steal the title away from Chelsea with victory over Stoke, hoping that Wigan can shock the league leaders for the second time this season. Ferdinand is still struggling with the back injury that has plagued him for much of the campaign while the Potters will bid for their first win at Old Trafford in seven visits.

Quick Check

Manchester United

Rio Ferdinand is hoping to return in defence after a groin strain.

Wes Brown could also feature after a long-term foot injury.

United have won five of the last six meetings between the sides.

Wayne Rooney has scored 19 goals in his last 19 Premier League appearances.

Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is still missing after dislocating his elbow.

Stoke have not scored against Man United in their last four meetings.

Tony Pulis\’ side has lost on their last six visits to Old Trafford.

The Potters have scored only 10 goals in 18 Premier League away games this season.

Stoke have scored more than one goal in only one of their last 11 matches.

Expert Advice

Stoke moved into the top half of the table with an impressive win at Fulham in midweek but whether they can carry the momentum forward at Old Trafford on Sunday remains open to question. The Potters have a particularly poor record at Manchester United and the champions will be in no mood to take things easy as they to secure a record fourth successive Premier League title. Sir Alex Ferguson\’s side know they are outsiders to defend their crown but they will do everything they can to apply pressure on leaders Chelsea and, with this in mind, it could be a high-scoring affair at the weekend with Betsson\’s odds of 1.31 about over 2.5 goals appearing a sound bet.

Jamie Carragher and Maxi Rodriguez are both injury doubts for Liverpool as they bid to finish a miserable season and a high note at Hull. Rafa Benitez’s side will be hoping for a repeat of the result earlier this season when they beat the Tigers 6-1 while the home side will make their farewell appearance after two years in the Premier League.

Quick Check

Hull City

Dean Marney is back in contention after a virus.

The Reds swept the Tigers aside when they met at Anfield earlier in the campaign and, despite star striker Fernando Torres being sidelined, they look a sound bet to complete the double over the home team. Iain Dowie’s side have battled manfully against relegation in recent weeks but they need to add some quality if they are to earn an immediate return to the Premier League next season, so Betsson’s odds of 3.65 about an away win by one goal looks a value bet.

Everton will be hoping to welcome midfielder Steven Pienaar back as they bid to extend their unbeaten run to 11 games against Portsmouth, who will make their final Premier League appearance before returning to the Championship next seaaon. The Toffees have won nine of their last 10 home matches as they prepare to face Pompey who will be seeking a morale booster ahead of next week’s FA Cup final, but will give fitness tests to Aaron Mokoena and in-form striker Aruna Dindane.

Quick Check

Everton

Steven Pienaar is hoping to return in midfield.

Mikel Arteta has scored six times in his last seven league games.

Their form on the road has been average at best, though, this season and they look likely to find the going tough against an Everton side who are on a 10-match unbeaten run and seemingly invincible at home at the moment. If David Moyes’ side had started the season the way they finished, they would surely have earned a European place next season. A home win is likely to be a warm order so Betsson’s odds of 2.37 for there to be over 3.5 goals appears a good bet.

Wigan shocked them at the JJB Stadium back in September and have produced some sort of consistency to take four points from their last two games. But the Blues appear in no mood to suffer a similar fate at Stamford Bridge and, with Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard in such rich goal-scoring form, they look to have too many attacking weapons for the visitors and Betsson’s odds of 1.26 for a Blues win by two goals appears a sound bet.

With fourth place secure, Tottenham will travel north to Burnley harbouring hopes that they can now squeeze fierce rivals Arsenal out and finish third. Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Michael Dawson and Aaron Lennon will all be hoping to make one final impression on England coach Fabio Capello against a Burnley side who have won just once in their last 18 games as they prepare to make their Premier League swansong.

Quick Check

Burnley

Burnley beat Tottenham 3-2 when the teams met in the Carling Cup last season.

Chris McCann remains sidelined by a knee injury.

Burnley have won only once in their last 18 games.

Stephen Jordan remains a doubt with a knee injury.

Brian Laws\’ team has gone 26 games since their last Premier League clean sheet.

Tottenham Hotspurs

Winger Aaron Lennon may start his first game this year after a groin injury.

Jermaine Jenas could also return after a virus.

Tottenham have won their last 18 Premier League matches when they have led at half-time.

Tom Huddlestone has never lost in the 12 games he has scored in.

Spurs have scored 11 goals in their last three games against Burnley, including a 5-0 win earlier this season.

Jermain Defoe is hoping to score against them for the third game running.

Spurs are bidding for their third clean sheet in a row.

Defender Vedran Corluka remains doubtful with an ankle injury.

Midfielder Niko Kranjcar will miss the rest of the season with a similar problem.

Defender Jonathan Woodgate remains sidelined by a long-term groin problem.

Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is out for the rest of the campaign after a serious motorbike accident.

While they have always played attractive football, Spurs have developed a steely resolve to their game – as they showed at Manchester City in midweek – and have enjoyed themselves in recent encounters with Burnley. The home side will be anxious to give their fans something to cheer about as they prepare for life back in the Championship but Tottenham appear to have too much firepower and Betsson\’s odds of 2.09 about an away win by two goals looks a sound bet.

Ricardo Gardner is expected to return for Bolton as Owen Coyle’s side bid to end the season on a positive note against Birmingham. The Trotters have won three of the last four encounters between the teams while the visitors will come into the match after claiming their first win in nine fixtures last against Burnley weekend.

Quick Check

Bolton Wanderers

Ricardo Gardner is back in contention to start after a leg injury.

Bolton have won three of the last four meetings between the sides.

American Stuart Holden could make a comeback after a broken leg.

Midfielder Gavin McCann is out until next month after ankle surgery.

Blues have kept only two clean sheets in their last 19 matches.

Full back Stuart Parnaby is doubtful after limping off against Burnley.

While the Trotters have found the going tough away from home, boss Owen Coyle has made the most of their fixtures at the Reebok Stadium and they have enjoyed the better of things against Birmingham of late. The visitors will be highly satisfied with their performance on their return to the Premier League but they have won only one of their last 10 matches and Betsson\’s price of 3.95 for a home win by one goal appears a value bet.

It has been a fantastic season for Aston Villa and they will want to go out on a high in what could be manager Martin O\’Neill\’s final game in charge. Speculation still remains about his future but they will be favourites to win their fourth win in five games. Blackburn will be on a high after their victory against Arsenal last weekend but have had their problems on the road this season winning only a handful of fixtures.

Quick Check

Aston Villa

Villa are bidding for a fourth win in five games.

John Carew has scored 10 goals in his last 15 matches.

Villa have lost only twice in the Premier League in 2010.

Martin O\’Neill\’s side has beaten Blackburn three times already this season.

Midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker is struggling to play again this season because of an ankle problem.

Fabian Delph will be out for the next eight months with a serious knee injury.

Marlon Harewood will be sidelined until the end of this month with a broken metatarsal.

Nikola Kalinic has scored three goals in his last three games against Villa.

David Dunn has scored four goals in his last seven matches.

Blackburn have lost only one of their last eight matches.

Rovers beat Villa 2-1 when the teams met in the Premier League earlier this season.

Villa need the three points to guarantee themselves a European place and striker John Carew will be keen to continue his good form in front of goal. Blackburn have struggled for the most part on the road this season but will be in good heart after last weekend\’s victory over Arsenal and, with the visitors having plenty of momentum, Betsson\’s odds of 3.85 for a draw look a good bet.

Denilson and Andrei Arshavin are both hoping to return for Arsenal as they bid to secure third place in the table with victory over London rivals Fulham. A point is likely to be enough for Arsene Wenger’s side against the visitors who will be hoping to build up some momentum ahead of the Europa League final after their midweek defeat to Stoke.

Quick Check

Arsenal

Midfielder Denilson is hoping to return after a groin problem.

Andrei Arshavin could also start after finally overcoming a calf problem.

Arsene Wenger’s side have won four of the last six meetings between the teams.

Kieran Gibbs remains sidelined with a foot problem.

Defender Johan Djourou has been ruled out for the campaign with a knee injury.

Fulham

Leading scorer Bobby Zamora is hoping to be available after an Achilles injury.

Fulham held Arsenal to a goalless draw when the teams met earlier in the season.

Roy Hodgson\’s side has scored only once in their last eight league away games.

Fulham have scored only one goal in their last four meetings with Arsenal.

The Cottagers have not away from home since the opening day of the campaign.

Striker Andy Johnson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee problem.

Expert Advice

While Arsenal still remain favourites to finish third in the table, things have become uncomfortably close for the Gunners following a drop in form in recent weeks and they will be desperate to correct matters in their final game of the season. Injuries have not been kind to Arsene Wenger\’s team in recent weeks and, while they always look dangerous in attack, they appear suspect in defence without a number of established stars and Fulham will be keen to exploit their lack of confidence at the back. The Cottagers suffered a surprise home defeat to Stoke in midweek, though, and, with their players appearing to have one eye on the Europa League final, a home win by two goals at 1.50 appears a sound bet.
