Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he has no idea "what the next step is" for luckless defender Jonathan Woodgate. England centre-back Woodgate is suffering from a recurrence of a groin problem which prompted him to undergo surgery in Germany in August and has only completed two games for the north Londoners this season. The 29-year-old recently had an injection to ease the injury but Redknapp revealed the former Real Madrid defender is back to square one. "He's had the injection but it doesn't seem to have done the trick really," Redknapp said. "I don't know if he can have another operation, he's had so many. I don't know what the next step is really." The White Hart Lane boss added: "It's a shame, he's such a good player. When he's fit he's fantastic for us but he is struggling a bit at the moment again."
