He has made three appearances in the Carling Cup for Blackburn, but has now been allowed to drop into the Championship to secure regular action. Reid has endured a troubled time with injuries in recent seasons and will look to make the most of his time with QPR at Loftus Road. The 28-year-old is expected to train with Jim Magilton's side on Thursday and could come into contention for Saturday's game at Doncaster Rovers. Magilton has moved to take on more midfielders after losing the experienced Gavin Mahon until February due to a knee injury.
