European champions Barcelona are hoping to boost their La Liga and Champions League hopes with a move for Manchester City's Brazilian superstar Robinho in January. Reports in Spain claim Barca boss Pep Guardiola is keen to land the player, who cost City £32million, and wants to team him up with the likes of Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Nou Camp. It’s thought the forward himself is keen on a move back to Spain and the former Real Madrid ace believes his style of football is better suited to La Liga. City boss Mark Hughes does not want to sell the Brazil international but he has yet to fully settle in England and has not yet reached the heights that was expected of him when he moved to Eastlands in last summer’s transfer window. There are suggestions Barca would be willing to allow Yaya Toure join City as part of the deal and that could end up tempting Hughes into discussing the possibility of selling the 25-year-old, who has 14 goals so far for the Premier League big-spenders.
