Roman Pavlyuchenko may have hastened his likely departure from Tottenham after accusing manager Harry Redknapp of "mocking me". The giant Russia international added his inability to win a first-team shirt at White Hart Lane had become a dressing-room joke. The 28-year-old has made no secret of his desire to leave north London and a January transfer seems inevitable given that Redknapp wants to free up funds to bring in his own signings. Pavlyuchenko says his situation has become "painful" and revealed he is desperate to find first-team football at a new club. "You cannot even imagine how tired I am of sitting on the bench," he said. "Do you want to hear the most recent joke in London? It goes: Harry Redknapp put Roman Pavlyuchenko in the starting line-up. "For me it would be funny if it was not so painful. I have a feeling that our manager is mocking me."
