Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed utility man John O'Shea is facing another two months on the sidelines. O'Shea has not kicked a competitive ball since suffering a thigh injury during Republic of Ireland's devastating World Cup defeat by France in Paris last month. Club officials brushed the problem off as nothing more than a dead leg on his return but O'Shea has not left the treatment table since. The good news for Ferguson is that Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans are edging closer to a first-team return, but the outlook for O'Shea is not positive. "There is no sign at all of recovery for John," said Ferguson. "It is his first injury at the club and he is a big loss because he is such a versatile player. "We just want to get him back but it could be a couple of months yet."
