Manchester City midfielder Patrick Vieira has revealed that he doesn't think he will be able to play consecutive games this season. The former Arsenal and Inter Milan star has struggled with injuries in the last few years while some have questioned whether he still has the fitness to play in the Premier League. The 33-year-old dropped to the bench for City's FA Cup tie with Stoke having completed his first 90 minutes for the Eastlands club during their 2-0 victory over Bolton on Tuesday night. Vieira has reacted angrily to talk of him being 'past it' and while he may have lost a yard of pace he still produced a world class pass to set up Emmanuel Adebayor for City's second in midweek. The France World Cup hopeful says that while he is keen to get games under his belt he is wary of doing too much before his body is ready. "I miss the rhythm of the games as I played little in the last few seasons," said Vieira. "I am capable of putting matches together but we must do it intelligently. "I will talk to the boss. There will come a moment where I won't be able to play every three or four days. "I will have to skip a game as I can't play six matches on the trot."
