Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov will miss his side's game against Bolton on Saturday due to suspension, after picking up a yellow card against West Ham on Wednesday - his fifth booking of the season. Last season, players who picked up a fifth yellow card had seven days before a suspension came into effect, but now any ban imposed is immediate. The Villa skipper will join defender Habib Beye on the sidelines after the full-back was sent off for two bookable offences at Upton Park, forcing Villa boss Martin O'Neill to make a number of changes for the game against the Trotters. O'Neill also has doubts over striker Emile Heskey, winger James Milner, and midfielder Craig Gardner for the Bolton game due to injuries, although Carlos Cuellar returns from suspension. Nigel Reo-Coker could move into midfield in Petrov's absence, after he came on as a substitute against West Ham - although he has not started a league game since his training ground spat with O'Neill in September.
